Project (Partners in Education, Arts, and Community Empowerment); collaborate with educators of middle school and high school students to empower underrepresented learners with visual arts language; lesson planning and teaching printmaking, painting, and drawing techniques for students to apply analysis of their learnings; attend workshops to learn about college, career and civic readiness goals; apply overall project plan development for budget approval. The Patchogue Arts Council provides this grant and is the only funded Assistance in Arts Education, U.S. Department of Education grant project on Long Island.
